In many instances, we can handle your matter over the telephone and through email and mail, without the necessity of a Court appearance by our Client, unless required by law or determined to be strategically beneficial. This usually eliminates the need to take off of work or take time away from your busy schedule to sit in court.
Our typical protocol is that if you decide to retain our services after our initial free consultation, then you send us your summons via email, mail, or fax. Upon receipt we will send the court a letter of representation and copy you. At the time of retaining our services, you may make payment by any major credit card or send us a check, unless an alternative payment arrangement has been made. On the day of court, we send you a disposition letter informing you of the outcome (whether or not you appear in court). At any time after retaining our Firm, you are free to call or email with any questions you may have. We try very hard to make the process as smooth and painless as possible for every client.
